Cerebral Cavernous Malformation (CCM)

This is a mass of enlarged blood vessels in your brain or spinal cord. Pockets in the mass slow down or even trap blood. This can lead to blood clots, or to a leaking of blood we call a "hemorrhage."

To protect our patients and our staff we ask if possible, please come to your appointment alone. If you are unable to attend alone, please bring along one other healthy person.

  • New or worsening cough
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Muscle Aches
  • Diarrhea or Stomach problems
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Redness around your eyes
  • Exposure to someone experiencing these symptoms
  • If you have traveled by airplane, train, bus or cruise ship
