Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

This is a label given to a group of disorders. In these disorders, nerves or blood vessels are compressed in the space between your collarbone and the underlying rib. This space is called the "thoracic outlet."

  • New or worsening cough
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Muscle Aches
  • Diarrhea or Stomach problems
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Redness around your eyes
  • Exposure to someone experiencing these symptoms
  • If you have traveled by airplane, train, bus or cruise ship
