To characterize the therapeutical effect of peri-acute spinal superfusion   with creatine and growth factor-enriched media as defined by: i) recovery   of motor function, ii) motor evoked potentials, and iii) axonal sparing   effect in a rat Th10 compression model.

To characterize the therapeutical effect of spinal grafting of human spinal         stem cells as defined by: i) recovery of motor function, ii) motor evoked          potentials, and iii) axonal sparing and cavity filling effect in a rat Th10      compression model.

To characterize the therapeutical effect of spinally grafted iPSC-NPCs in   minipig spinal contusion model as defined by:i) recovery of motor       function, ii) motor evoked potentials, and iii) axonal sparing effect, and iv)   cell engraftment.

Development of an in vivo model for metastatic disease to CNS.

Development of an in vivo model for metastatic disease and tumor spinal          cord compression.

Investigate the utility of vaccinia viral vectors to treat metastatic disease to        the spine and brain.

Develop an in vivo model to investigate spinal cord injury with ventral      cord compression.

Collaborate on creating a mouse with an inducible Ig lambda light chain.

Investigate the role of B cells in T cell development and maturation utilizing recombination-activating gene (RAG 1 and RAG2) knock out mice.

Investigate the role of various proteins in Ig heavy chain class switch.

Developing a technique for single cell RT-PCR with non-specific primers to capture heavy chain class switch and hypermutation in an IgM knock out mouse.
